Auckland Sky Tower
The city’s most prominent landmark, the Sky Tower stands at 328 meters high. It is also New Zealand’s highest building. Take a panorama snap of the entire city in the observation deck. You can also enjoy dizzying views by walking the exterior 192-meter-high Sky Walk platform around the tower’s arch. You can even jump off the platform for an adrenaline rush vie Sky Jump.

Auckland Art Gallery
The city’s most remarkable cultural site, located in a striking French Renaissance-style building built way back in 1887. The gallery is home to New Zealand’s most extensive art collection, boasting more than 15,000 artworks on display. An array of artworks including European paintings and sculptures that date back to the 14th century are stored here. The Historic Art Gallery and Maori Portraiture showcase the work of New Zealand’s early European settlers.

One Tree Hill
Many Aucklanders agree that the volcanic cone of One Tree Hill is the city’ symbol. One Tree Hill takes up the southwest corner of the park covered with a series of flower beds and stands of mature trees amidst walking trails. The hilltop features an obelisk built over Sir John Logan Campbell who gifted this greenery to Auckland as a city park.
